One Breath at A Time
Brittany has worked in the world of mental health for roughly 13 years, beginning as crisis counselor at the Suicide Hotline in 2012. She then went on to acquire her bachelors (Marshall University) and Master's in Counseling Psychology (University of Kansas). While in Kansas, Brittany volunteered for a local hospice doing bereavement calls. Knowing grief intimately, she grew to love the hospice philosophy of compassionate care during some of life's most vital moments. Upon graduation she began working with hospice patients and their families and found her calling in grief counseling. She now focuses on grief in all aspects of life with her counseling clients. Brittany specializes in grief counseling, anxiety reduction, inner child work, and women's issues. Brittany holds her license as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Kansas and holds her Resident in Counseling license in the state of Virginia under clinical supervision with Pam Comer, LPC. She is currently working towards her level 1 Breathworker certification with Transformations Breathwork and uses therapeutic breathwork in her counseling practice. Brittany works in many worlds and finds nature and creativity vital components of her counseling practice as well.
